Well, Jon Peatfield asked me about the wchar_t problem I'd run into, so I
prodded it and it turned out only to need the addition of
-DSELFILE -DSTDC_HEADERS -DPATH_MAX=60
to the XDEFS in xdvik/Makefile and now it all seems to be nice and happy ;-)
and I've finally managed to talk myself into writing GetFileDo after months
of prevarication. Generally an all-round success.
